Day (-)1: It is New Years Eve. Everyone is excited about the trip. However, we have just been told our flight is cancelled from Syracuse to Cleveland,OH. We were then told that at 3am on New Years Day, we will be taking two Le Moyne College vans to the Newark airport to catch a flight from there to Houston,TX at 10:15am. The plan is to still arrive in Quito, Ecuador at 11:59pm. Hopefully we do not lose one of our comrades with all this cancelled flight business, that would be a real New Years Day bummer.

We just had one of our last meetings tonight to prepare for the trip in January. We have just found out that a group from Cazenovia will be overlapping our trip for the last four days we are in Ecuador. We hope to meet with them in a couple weeks!
